Therapaws brought in Junior—a gentle Golden Shepherd therapy dog—and what a beautiful day it turned into. The children across all batches spent time playing with him, combing his mane, and feeding him, and you could see the happiness on their faces all day long.
Spending time with a therapy dog does so much more than just bring smiles. It helps children feel calm and secure, especially those who may be a little hesitant or anxious. Through simple interactions, they begin to show care and empathy—petting him gently, being mindful, and forming a quiet connection. Activities like grooming and feeding also help with their coordination and confidence.
Most of all, it’s these small, meaningful moments that help children build kindness, patience, and a sense of comfort with the world around them.
A day filled with wagging tails, gentle touches, and lots of joy!
Therapaws comes in to share joy with Circles & Cycles children twice a month!
