Hello, I’m Naama Singh, the visionary behind Circles & Cycles.
From a young age, I found joy in the company of children. I began babysitting at 19 while in college, drawn to the happiness and engagement I brought to children. This early experience laid the foundation for my journey in education.
In 2005, I pioneered the first center for children with different abilities in Mumbai. Before that, I spent four years as an assistant teacher in a Montessori school in the United States.
In 2015, motherhood became my most profound teacher. Raising three children has been a transformative journey that inspired me to share the joy of learning and co-creation with children. This led to the establishment of Circles & Cycles in 2023.
My entrepreneurial spirit in the field of education stems from a passion for revolutionising how children learn and grow. The impact of the environment, language, attitude and our role as adults in a child’s growth has fueled my desire to create a meaningful school with genuine intent.
I envision a future where education is accessible, engaging and personalised for every individual. This vision, combined with the potential to make a lasting positive impact on learners, drives my entrepreneurial journey in the education sector.
Beyond education, I cherish creating memories with my children and living in the present moment. Staying physically active through activities like long runs and pickleball fuels my mind and body. Music is another love, as I am on a journey to train my voice. I find inspiration in beautiful spaces and enjoy spending quality time with friends and family.
Circles & Cycles sets itself apart through its commitment to play-based learning and co-creation with children, inspired by my experiences during the lockdown in 2020. Our school embodies the Reggio Emilia philosophy, creating an authentic and intentionally developed program to inspire children’s growth and love for learning.
Our space is designed as a home away from home, fostering a calming and happy environment with ample room for physical play. Every aspect of our curriculum, space and faculty is aligned with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
Our safety, hygiene and security protocols are meticulously crafted to ensure the well-being of both parents and children, reflecting the standards I would want for my own children at home.
