In our second educator’s workshop we will delve deeper into the core values of the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on the concept of the ‘hundred languages.’ In Reggio Emilia the ‘hundred languages’ celebrates the many ways children express themselves and interpret the world, recognizing that each child brings a unique perspective to their learning journey. While children work through problems and ideas, they are encouraged to illustrate their understanding using their many different ‘hundred languages’ to work through experiences and projects.
