Cubs Circle is a research-grounded, nurturing parenting programme for expectant mothers and mothers with babies from birth to six months. For the first time in Mumbai, Circles & Cycles brings the Baby Bonding approach from the UK, in collaboration with ClearSky, offering a safe, intentional space for early connection and relationship-building.
The programme runs over 12 sessions and is offered in small, intimate groups, allowing for depth, trust, and meaningful shared experiences.
What to Expect
Cubs Circle is held as a small, forum-style group, where confidentiality, emotional safety, and shared experiences are core agreements of the space. Parents are welcomed into a supportive environment where reflection, honesty, and connection are encouraged.
Each session explores research-based practices rooted in attachment theory and reflective functioning. Through mindful guidance, mothers are supported to reflect on their own emotional experiences as well as their baby’s inner world, helping both feel secure and connected.
The programme emphasises connected relational play, focusing on the quality of connection between mother and baby rather than outcomes or milestones. Attachment is explored as something built through intentional presence, empathy, and attuned interaction.
Sessions include baby yoga and gentle movement, supporting nurturing closeness and connection through sensory development and play between mommy and baby. Music, rhythm, and movement are used to support co-regulation and the baby’s emerging ability to self-regulate.
There is also dedicated time for mommy–baby photo sessions, capturing moments of presence, warmth, and early bonding.
