The Caregiver Workshop is an opportunity to introduce the Reggio Emilia approach — a philosophy that empowers children to become curious, creative, and competent learners. This workshop is vital because it moves beyond traditional educational models to embrace a more enriching, child-centered learning approach and is valued by the Circles and Cycles (C and C) community.

Caregivers Workshops
The workshop offers a dedicated moment for participants to be reflective, share ideas, and ask questions. It introduces the values of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and of the Circles and Cycles community to caregivers (nannies, nurses, Didis). It provides simple, practical tips on how to align with how C and C views learning experiences for all children, encouraging caregivers to be courageous and open to new ways of working with them.
The workshop is offered in two parts (Beginners and Intermediate) and is scheduled every 2 – 3 months.

Educator Workshops
This series of 4 original workshops is not only designed with intention, thought and care to be authentic to the values of the Reggio Emilia approach, but also to what both Dr Bindiya Hassaram and I believe is best practice for facilitating meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences for young children.
No matter where in your learning journey of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, one can begin with the first Educator Workshop where we all begin as like-minded colleagues open to sharing personal connections, knowledge and expertise and learning from each other. Perhaps more pertinent is the opportunity for attendees to learn practical skills and tools in the set up of provocations, designing of a space and tips to try in the ongoing process of observation and documentation.
