    Parent Information Morning

    By Circle and CyclesSeptember 8, 2026September 16th, 2026No Comments

Our Parent Information Morning was a wonderful opportunity to welcome our parent community from Preschool A and B into the world of Circles & Cycles.

Parents were invited to step into our learning spaces and catch a glimpse of what a day in the life of their child looks like. They had the opportunity to meet our facilitators, discuss their child’s abilities and interests, and understand the experiences and learning that happen throughout the day.

The morning also gave parents a peek into our specialist experiences, including Spanish, Multi-Sport, Yoga, and STEM, and how these experiences support children in exploring, expressing, questioning, and discovering the world around them.

A key part of the morning was exploring the Reggio Emilia philosophy and understanding how we bring its principles to life in our everyday practice. Through our learning environments, documentation, relationships, and the ways we listen to children, parents were able to see how our philosophy shapes the experiences we create for them.

The morning also became a space for reflection and connection. Parents shared memories and moments from their own childhoods, reflecting on how childhood, learning, and parenting have evolved over the years. These conversations opened up meaningful perspectives on how our own experiences influence the way we see childhood today.

It was a morning of connection, reflection, discovery, and shared learning — bringing our families closer to the everyday experiences that make Circles & Cycles a special place for children to learn and grow.

As a mother, I wanted to give her more than what I could find around me. I wanted to understand how her brain was developing and how I could nurture it during those precious early years. That search led me into neuroscience, Japanese right-brain methodologies and developmental research that was still largely unfamiliar to Indian parents.
